Rev. A. Samar Biggham’s lineage carries an affluent history of gospel singers that have shared the heart of God through music for more than two decades. Being the grandson of Gospel Music Hall of Fame inductee, legendary producer and songwriter, Rev. Dr. Milton Biggham, his influence continues to help cultivate the authentic sounds of Samar’s music.

played in the family favorite film “The Preacher’s Wife” starring Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston, featured as a lead singer on the Georgia Mass Choir CD entitled “Tell It”, participated in the CD/DVD recording of the “Gospel Legends” for Malaco Records, Samar has also used his background vocal ability on the Motown Records famed artist Tasha Cobbs first album “Smile” and privileged to serve as a lead singer on the Second Nazareth Baptist Church, Columbia,SC first album “SNBC & Friends”.
A. Samar has shared the stage with some of the Gospel greats such as “The Georgia Mass Choir”, Donald Malloy and Dorothy Norwood just to name a few. He has been favored and blessed to sing with Jonathan Nelson, the late Rev. Timothy Wright, and Kim Burrell. In 2013A. Samar had the awesome privilege of
opening up for world renowned gospel icon Kirk Franklin in Columbia, SC. During his academic career, he served as assistant director for the Award-Winning Benedict College Gospel Choir under the direction of Mr. Darryl Izzard.
Currently, A. Samar’s new hit single, “It’s Gonna Be Alright,” is on the uprise and is bringing a new sound and appreciation to choir and Sunday morning Music! A. Samar Biggham is also a noted and sought after preacher of the gospel who serves as the Senior Pastor of the Greater Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Newark, NJ.
